Here are some interesting stats GP Living came across. These are from the intersection of 9th and E Streets. We are starting to see a living downtown !

Residential Population…
Within 1/2 mile – 3,565
Within 1 mile – 25,552
Within 2 miles – 138,874

Daytime (Working) Population…
Within 1/2 mile – 99,314
Within 1 mile – 261,984

The point is that DC is finally growing a downtown resident population, which was not the case in the past.

I tend to challenge stats, any stats – even baseball stats. What were the sources of such stats?
