Textile Museum Coming To 421 7th St NW – It’s Official!
As we had mentioned in May, the Textile Museum was in talks to lease the space at 421 7th St NW (former HTNB space). The WaPo has a story today explaining that the will open an exhibition space early next year on three floors of the building.
Here are links to the Textile Museum’s official press release (pdf) and pictures of the interior and exterior of 421 7th St NW.

thank God for Safeway.com
OMG, I am SO HAPPY! It’s been so sad walking past that empty storefront every day. And it’s not a chain restaurant! And it’s not something lame and generic! Fabulous.
I have never been to the textile museum at its current location but I have heard that it is absolutely fantastic. They do special exhibits like different kinds of kimonos. I wasn’t excited until I learned more about it – should be great.

Very cool. Is that the former HTNB space?
