A sure sign that a new condo building is approaching its last phases of construction are the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) listings that appear for units that have gone unsold or have been turned back in due to contract recisions. The Artisan condo at 915 E Street is no exception and two listings now show in zip code 20004. Studios are listed at $319,900 and there is one top floor 1 BR listed at $429K. GP Living mentioned The Artisan in the E Street Corridor Roundup earlier in 2006. This is the last condo building under construction to go to completion in the PQ/GP area. What residential projects will we see next ?

The Newseum’s rental apartments should be finished next year. It’s been a while since I heard anything about the site, but I believe Abdo had plans for a condo building where they tore down the Best Western on 3rd Street.
