The Holidays Must Be Here!
All the talk of trees and the holidays made sharing this photo irresistible. This condo owner has their tree outside and strung with lights (the photo is clickable to get a closer look).

i got my tree from the garden center out NY ave in NE. The prices are very good. They do have a section of bargain trees that appear to be spray painted green but the rest are pretty nice. I didnt notice any small trees, only medium-large ones. most of em are 25-45 with another section 10/ft. its right past the hechts warehouse on the opposite side, you cant miss it.
That is great. Unfortunately the tree in the lobby of my condo (Res. at Gallery Place) had to be taken done….bahumbug.
Does anyone know why the tree was taken down? I was told it was in response to a complaint not about the tree, but about the menorah and Hanukkah decorations (which was put up a couple days after the tree). In response to the complaint about the Hanukkah decorations, they decided to take everything down. Does anyone know if this is true?
just a reminder to take up condo specific issues (such as the last part of #8) with your HOA or management. we enjoy plentiful discussions on PQ Living but many condos have their own listservs or websites where these focused issues are more appropriately addressed.
we are in the process of amending our comment policy to make this clear; future comments on this thread will be subject to the above test.
thanks,

Don’t forget to support small local businesses!
You can also get trees on the Hill at Frager’s (1100 block of Pennsylvania, SE) or Ginkgo Gardens (11th and K, SE).
