Truluck’s Washington, D.C. Opens Its Doors This Saturday, May 22 (700 K St NW)

We watched during our daily walks as Truluck’s was built out just before the pandemic hit in 2020. Fast forward one year and it’s now opening!

Washington, D.C. (May 20, 2021) – Truluck’s Washington, D.C. announces its newest location will open on Saturday, May 22, at the corner of 7th St NW & K St NW.
With the District’s capacity restrictions being lifted come Friday, May 21, the fine-dining restaurant will open with approximately 400 seats, featuring a vibrant Stone Crab Lounge, sparkling chandeliers, signature red leather horseshoe booths, and elegant floor-to-ceiling views of the thriving downtown D.C. neighborhood.
The new restaurant will offer a range of Truluck’s classics from Executive Chef Laurence Cohen, including:
Mediterranean branzino cooked with olive oil, lemon, olives and taramasalata
New England scallops pan-seared with golden beet pesto and herb oil
Dutch Yellowtail pan-seared with tomato, grape, mint, dill and lime
Hawaiian tuna crudo embellished with fresh grape and cherry tomato medley
Prime beef cuts are hand selected by true artisans with over 100 years of experience and broiled at 1,200 ° F
