International Spy Museum Hosts Scavenger Hunt Tonight
We’re surprised that we haven’t even mentioned the International Spy Museum (800 F St NW) since we started this blog. We heard on the radio (107.3 FM) last night that there are still some slots available for tonight’s Ultimate Scavenger Hunt (starts at 7pm). The radio station ad also mentioned a sweet prize – plane [...]

Six districts exist and seven others are currently under consideration. Penn Quarter/Gallery Place is in the Downtown BID [...]
Arts On Foot Wrap-up
Our assessment of this year’s Arts On Foot is that is was very successful. Several artists that we spoke with indicated that it was the best year yet! Also, the $1 – $4 food samples were a great hit and an excellent way to taste all of Penn Quarter’s restaurants at one event.
Police Interview Bucket Drummer At Gallery Place
The “bucket drummer” that usually hangs out at the 7th and H St metro entrance caught police attention this afternoon. Few people love him, and most people hate him because of the excessive volume and the tendency to play after midnight. Today, it seems that his antisocial behavior has caught up to him. He apparently [...]
