Free DC Walking Tours This Saturday!
Cultural Tourism DC has organized another round of free walking tours for this Saturday, Sept 30! The ’06 Fall Edition of WalkingTown will host over 20 walking tours all over Washington DC. Here is the list of tours. Only a couple of tours require reservations, and we can tell you that the boat tour was already booked when we called a week ago.
Those of you who enjoyed the Penn Quarter walking tour during the Arts On Foot festival may be interested in the German Immigrant Entrepreneurs in Old Downtown tour which still focuses in on our neighborhood.

It’s to get folks interested in going to live theater. Ford’s Theater, Shakespeare Theater Company and Woolly Mammoth are all particpating. So if you’ve been thinking about going to one of them , this is a great opportunity.
