While walking to a meeting last week, we noticed that demolition has begun on the former YWCA building. The new development at 900 G Street from MRP Realty promises ” a new 9-story trophy office building scheduled to deliver by October 1, 2014. The Building will be developed to LEED Gold standard,” and the first floor is expected to offer new retail space. We await announcements of the expected new additions to the already strong neighborhood shopping.
