Walking by Central (1001 Penn. Ave NW) the other day we noticed a sign in their window advertising a Mardi Gras party on Tuesday (2/24/09). While we don’t really think of Central as a New Orleans inspired restaurant, we imagine they will have no problem putting on a great night of food and drinks.
The first restaurant that comes to our minds (in PQ) for a Mardi Gras celebration is Acadiana (901 NY Ave). When we walked by this weekend there were no signs up advertising any Fat Tuesday events, but a quick search of their website shows that they are hosting a party as well. In fact at Acadiana one day isn’t enough, their Mardi Gras celebration runs both Monday and Tuesday.
Anyone know of other bars & restaurants in PQ hosting Mardi Gras events?
