Georgetown Law’s Theater Group – Performance Tonight!
A longtime PQL reader wanted to let us know about a student-run theater group called the Georgetown Gilbert & Sullivan Society at the Georgetown Law Center located just on the fringe of Penn Quarter at 600 New Jersey Ave, NW. Tonight is the last night of their current show, titled Gilbert & Sullivan’s Ruddigore. It is a ghost story that involves some of the best music (if not the best-known) that Sullivan ever composed. The bulk of the cast and technical crew are law students.
The show is held in the Hart Auditorium at 8pm tonight. Tickets are available here or at the door.

On an unrelated note, has anyone noticed a terrible smell wafting over penn quarter. I first smelled it Thursday around noon on 8th St as I was walking toward Teaism. And then again last night through my open windows overlooking the courtyard at the Lansburgh.
