As we were on a neighborhood stroll, we noticed that a new store had sashayed into downtown DC without us noticing. Andrew’s Ties (1155 F St NW, next to Pret A Manger) has been open for several weeks, but the only online reference that we could find was a March 2011 blurb in the Downtown DC newsletter that they had occupied the space.
Many of you may be familiar with Andrew’s Ties as it is a popular retail shop that can be found abroad and in some major airports. With only 6 shops in the US, Andrew’s Ties brings unique custom Italian ties to Penn Quarter.
