Chop’t Creative Salad Company To Open In September – DC Store Details (730 7th St NW)
We received a press release from Chop’t Salad announcing a September 2007 opening of their first store in Washington DC and first store located outside of Manhattan.
Here are some highlights for the DC store:
- 40-seat restaurant
- three salad stations
- 60 kinds of ingredients
- 26 types of homemade salad dressing
- ranging in price from $5.99 to $10.99
- salads can be wrapped in a grilled flatbread and enjoyed as a salad sandwich
- will be open Mondays through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- will offer take-away, delivery and catering

I’m also looking forward to the opening of Chop’t. I was pleased to see that they’d be open until 9 PM – was a little concerned it would be just another lunch place for office workers. plus, salad is healthy and a good source of fiber.
I have been to a Chopt in NYC — great place and infinite salad choices. Much better than High Noon (local chain)
