- Upstairs On 7th, a new women’s boutique, is now open on the second floor of Touchstone Gallery (406 7th Street). Owner Ricki Peltzman’s new boutique features designer sportswear, shoes, handbags and accessories.
This blogger hasn’t discovered cross-dressing yet. Anyone of the female variety care to share opinions on the new store?

I was at Upstairs on 7th for the first time over the weekend to see the Epperson show and it was fantastic. He was so nice and his shirts were almost sold out by the time I got there. Ricki has a lot more merchandise than she bought before and many more lines. I wanted one of each. I am so glad there is finally a store in Penn Quarter that has unique items that I can add to my wardrobe and that will not put me over my budget.

Upstairs on 7th is an outgrowth of the boutique that Margery Goldberg has at Zenith Gallery. It’s clothes and accessories are for women who like to stand out in a crowd and would be perfectly comfortable in SoHo.
