RSS FeedConstruction Update – 777 6th Street
PQResident heard from CityMiss, another PQ inhabitant. She reports on 777 6th Street, an 11 story speculative office building with 190,000 square feet of space being built by Trammell Crow (architect: Hickok Cole); final completion is due in the second quarter of 2007. GP Living first reported on it in the May 22 post. She reports that [the poured concrete] construction is progressing at a rate of 1/3 story per day (i.e., approximately one story every three days) notwithstanding torrential downpours of late. Construction does begin early in the morning and she surmises that her now clear view of the multicolored IBEW sign will ultimately be blocked by the height of the building.
