Do you have a spare bed or sofa?
The DC Shorts Film Festival, taking place at the E Street Cinema and the US Navy Memorial, is looking for housing volunteers for Thursday, September 11 through Sunday, September 14.
Housing volunteers will be paired with 1 or 2 filmmakers. You provide them a place to crash and DC Shorts will reward you with festival tickets and party admissions. Last year, volunteers housed more than 3 dozen filmmakers from as far away as Italy.
This year, they expect a record number of filmmakers to attend. Please consider hosting a person or two. The experience is amazing.

In 2006 we hosted a filmmaker for the DC Shorts film fesitval, and it was a wonderful experience. We enjoyed it so much that we have gotten more involved with the film fesitval each year. This year the film festival is going to be SUPERB. I am volunteering again!
Hosting a filmmaker is a lot of fun. They take great pains to ensure that the host/guest(s) are a good match.
