National History Day Comes To Gallery Place (June 13)
PRWeb has details on a mid-day Wednesday event at the Smithsonian American Art Museum and National Portrait Gallery.
As part of National History Day, 22 students will present their projects at the Reynolds Center (8th & G St NW) reflecting this year’s theme “Triumph and Tragedy in History” between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Performances will take place in the museums’ Nan Tucker McEvoy Auditorium while documentaries and exhibits will be on display in the auditorium lobby. Visitors can reach the auditorium via the museums’ G Street lobby.
