Neighborhood Florists – Need Some Help!
Need to send some flowers to Penn Quarter tomorrow? There is a great florist occupying the first kiosk in the G Street alley of Gallery Place. Anyone know the name/phone number of it?
What other florists do you recommended for the area?

I know they’re an FTD florist, I noticed that sign on the window last night, but they don’t show up on ftd.com.
I’ve used these guys before though at 14th & G with good results:

columbo: Some good info, thanks. The only other piece of info I know about the G St florist is that their “main shop” is actually located in Virginia.
The kiosk florist is very nice and convenient, please please patronize them – not just for Valentine’s Day, but throughout the year. I use them to pick up flowers on the way home.
If you are looking for over the top, incredible, best quality arrangements, use Citiflowers (they deliver, too).
With columbo’s tip, we found the G St florist:

Right you are gpliving, when I searched FTD online I didn’t scroll down to the “call or visit” section of the page. Good work.
FYI…I believe the florist in Market Square (701 Pennsylvania Avenue) has flower happy hour on Friday afternoons–that’s 1/2 price flowers.
I just received 2 dozen tulips from the florist at 701 Penn and they’re really pretty. I’ve gone there for roses before, but they seem so expensive since I’ve gotten spoiled by the cheap rose guys at Archives-Navy Mem and other Metro stops. When will they come back, I wonder?? I guess it’ll be a sign of spring.
Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
Doing some last minute shopping, GP Living??
