Zola closed this fall summer to much chagrin but the space at the corner of 8th and F St NW did not remain unclaimed for long. Ashok Bajaj’s Knightsbridge Restaurant Group announced that it will fill the space with another concept. A small tease in the form of a signboard recently appeared on the front door promising another concept in spring 2013. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Downtown – Woodward Table opens in the old Potenza space at 15th and H St NW. We’ve been twice already and have nothing but good things to say about the food, drink, and atmosphere. NoMa – JBG puts up a coming soon website for 77 H St NW which will be the apartment building on top of our soon-to-be-neighborhood Wal-Mart coming in the summer of 2013. 303 apartments coming soon to a Wal-Mart near you! Capitol Riverfront/Near Southeast Downtown – We’ve written about the old Garfinckel’s building at 14th and F St NW, now home to The Hamilton restaurant.
