Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day At St. Patrick’s Catholic Church
On Tuesday (3/17) at 11:30 am, PQ’s own St. Patrick’s Catholic Church (619 10th ST NW) is holding their annual celebration to honor the patron saint of Ireland. Donald W. Wuerl , Archbiship of Washington, will be there and there will be music by the DC Fire Department’s Emerald Society Pipes and Drums, and “children performing traditional Irish step dancing, and guest brass instrumentalists from Ireland performing traditional Irish hymns with our choir.”
No matter your spiritual beliefs, it’s easy to appreciate what a beautiful church we have in our downtown neighborhood. If you happen to be Irish, Catholic, or a fan of any of the music or dance at St. Patrick’s this Tuesday, we hope you’ll be able to stop by and enjoy the celebration.
