Obama At Ford’s Theatre Tonight!
Our trusty readers, eyes and ears on the street, tipped us off that President Obama was to put in an appearance at Ford’s Theatre tonight for their grand reopening celebration. We aren’t TMZ but our regular evening stroll yielded the photo above (click on it to get a closer look) where you can see the port-a-canopy surrounding the Presidential limousine. Small crowds of people clustered on three of the four corners at the intersection of 10th and E Streets NW cameras at the ready. Police were on the fourth corner, the one on the same side of the street as Ford’s, to keep an eye on everything. We also caught the Obama mototeam camped out on E Street NW in the photo after the break while they awaited word that it was time to leave.
