Church Demo Soon?
We caught workers securing a construction fence for the church at 10th & G. They tell us they’re prepping the site for the demo, but couldn’t tell us when it would happen.
Street Closures Today

We’ve received a few reports that we’re unable to we’ve visually confirmed, stating that several streets will be closed on Saturday for the BET Honors at the Warner Theatre. Info we’ve received follows:
- Westbound lanes of Penn Ave between 10th & 13th streets, 2 pm to 9 pm
- 13th St between Penn Ave & F ST (both directions), noon to 9 pm
- E ST between 12th & 13th streets (both directions), all day Saturday, reopening 6 am Sunday.
Christo/Jeanne-Claude At NGA On Sunday
The enivronmental public art installation duo, Christo and Jeanne-Claude, are in town at the National Gallery of Art this Sunday to help publicly screen the HBO Documentary Film “The Gates.” The film chronicles the long road to creating and installing the public art piece consisting of a long series of orange fabric panel gates in Central Park, New York City in 2005.
