The American Art Museum’s annual benefit, ARTrageous, is tonight from 7:30 pm to 11 pm in the newly opened Kogod courtyard. Tickets are $125 for non-members and $100 for members. Food buffets, wine and spirits, live music and dancing will be provided. Dress is cocktail attire and valet parking is included. The Museum is at 8th and F Streets, NW and tickets are available online or at (202) 633-4550.
Downtown Holiday Market Details Now Available
The exhibitor/vendor and entertainer list for the Downtown Holiday Market is now posted and it looks like it’s going to be a dandy. The daily exhibitor list is here.
The Market starts this Friday, December 7 and runs through Sunday, December 23.
What Will Hard Rock Display Next?
This isn’t a complaint, but Hard Rock has those great big windows on E ST which have two top tables above them. This windows have no display and the people sitting at those tables must be pressed for space; we like to play a game when we walk by to see what type of garbage or food service items have fallen from the tables above.
We admit it’s a better game in the summer time, when the tourists line up to get in and tables turn over more quickly. Still as these photos can attest, on any given day you can find a variety of items on display.
