Old Dominion Brewhouse Opens Tomorrow In Shaw!
It’s been a long time coming, one of several of the promised retail businesses hosted in the perimeter of the New Convention Center is finally set to open tomorrow.
Life In Mt. Vernon Square has the scoop on the Old Dominion Brewhouse opening (1219 9th St NW) in Shaw.

11:00 am until 11:00 pm
Menu offerings include a variety of appetizers, salads, soups, sandwiches, entrees, desserts.

Chinatown Art Installation At Noon Today – What Is It?
Sam writes in to let us know about a Chinatown art installation to occur at noon today at 602-604 H St NW.
We don’t know if it will be permanent or not, but here are the details:

Art installation: Ornamental iron gate made from forged steel that’s 11 feet tall and 9 feet wide. DC Creates Public Arts Program Artist, Andrew T. Crawford installs The Dragon Gate, part of the Chinatown Streetscape improvement project.
