Penn Quarter Neighborhood Maps From The Past!
Ever wonder what the neighborhood looked like just a few years ago? We’ve noticed that the mapping engines of several websites hold data for varying years. Zillow.com seems to have the oldest (pre-2003) maps, while Microsoft’s local.live seems to have the most recent. Check out the following screen captures:
First up is Zillow’s blast from the past. Do you know what the Gallery Place building replaced? The answer is below:
Next, we have Microsoft’s local.live maps. The newest maps we’ve been able to find. Dated sometime in 2007 – notice the [almost] completed courtyard roof of the Reynold’s Center.
