PS 7 Patio Happy Hour, Tomorrow
Not a person I know dislikes al fresco dining which makes PS7’s (777 I St, NW) patio opening party the evening of Wednesday, June 6, from 5 pm to 7 pm sound like a real treat. For ten bucks, you can get two house made hot dogs and a microbrew. This blogger can vouch for the yummy house hot dogs to be had from the lounge menu and expects no less of the patio served variety.

I hit the PS7 happy hour last night, although I got there after 7pm they were still offering the 2 dogs & a beer for $10 deal.
Mrs. Columbo & I both opted for this, the dogs were small but well presented with shoe string fries. The beers were Brooklyn Pennant Ales, all in all a steal at $10. Additional beers were HH priced at only $2.50.
I was out on the patio after 7:00 and no hot dogs were on the menu. And beers were definitely not happy hour priced.
But the food and weather were both great.
The hot dogs are on the lounge menu (unless they were sold out). The link in the post takes you right to the PDF.
not worth it. martinis are weak and bartender seemed annoyed when we asked for suggestions. Also, when you can get the bartenders attention, they seemed to always be busy even though there were only a total of 6 of us at the bar. appetizers are overpriced, his recommendation sucked and we left after a half hour when he couldn’t recommend any wines by the glass…..but OH, you have micro hotdogs and microbrews??? please save your time and either hit fados, RFD or even the new Bar Louie if you’re in chinatown. this place is about as dead as the office building it occupies after 6pm.
Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
FWIW, Children’s Miracle Network is having its annual cook-out lunch benefit (hot dogs and hamburgers being grilled as I type) today on the plaza right outside PS 7’s patio area.
Looks like a great day for hot dog lovers at Techworld.
