Capital Fringe Festival Next Month In Penn Quarter (Volunteer Happy Hour Tomorrow)

Posted by gpliving
June 27, 2006

Jordan writes in to let us know about the Capital Fringe Festival:

From July 20-30, 2006 downtown Washington DC will come to life with the inaugural Capital Fringe Festival. This celebration of the performing arts will bring together 100 performing artists/groups who will present more than 400 performances in over 30 venues within 11 days!

    Call For Volunteers

The INAUGURAL CAPITAL FRINGE FESTIVAL is a volunteer driven festival and we need people like you to staff our Main Festival box office and the individual venue box offices, interact with public as House Managers, and help facilitate the HOTSPOT parties. It’s going to be an exciting and memorable event that you need to be part of, to meet new people and get involved with the arts in DC.

    Volunteer Happy Hour this Wednesday, June 28, 2006, 6 – 8pm
    The Warehouse Cafe and Bar
    1021 7th Street, NW

This sounds like a great way to meet local artists and become involved in the local art scene!
