RSS FeedSaks Off Fifth Coming To Old ESPN Zone Site (555 12th St NW)
The Washington Business Journal reports that the space formerly occupied by ESPN Zone at the corner of 11th and E St NW (555 12th St NW is the building’s address) will be taken over by a Saks Off Fifth, the discount clothing arm of Saks Fifth Avenue. The nearest Saks Off Fifth is currently over 20 miles away in Potomac Mills Mall in northern Virginia. The ESPN Zone closed in June of 2010 meaning this downtown space has been vacant for almost 6 years.
This new store will uptick the count of discount clothiers downtown as the neighborhood will now have all the major venues within a four block radius of each other including TJ Maxx, Marshall’s, Nordstrom Rack, and Saks Off Fifth.
