A parked Panavision truck on 7th Street NW and director’s chairs in front of Indiana Avenue NW this morning can only mean one thing. Hollywood is shooting a movie in the Penn Quarter and the movie being shot is “Salt.” Starring Angelina Jolie and Liev Schreiber, the release date is quoted as 2010. Well I know I’m going off topic with MB on this one, but I’ve had that crazy guy scream and threaten my dog and I over there before too. I can live with that stuff and always have, I don’t pay him any attention. I’m sorry to hear he moved from verbal to physical with your dog. I don’t think I’d react very well to someone kicking my dog.
Tomorrow 3/6 they will be filming in Georgetown at Waters Alley NW. In case you wantd to know that is what I heard

Last year, a homeless woman who had been friendly, assaulted my dog. I called 911 immediately from my cellphone. She cried for me to stop, but I continued the call. She was confronted by the police, but was not arrested — which is fine — I just wanted to scare her a bit. I also reported her to the Downtown BID, who has a homeless unit. She has not been seen in a while, and I am under the impression that she is receiving treatment at a shelter elsewhere in town.
Do not be afraid to confront a dog assailant. Would you ignore an attack on a friend/partner?
Darn it! This is just about right outside our front door and I missed it.

They are currently filming scenes from “Salt” on 7th St and Penn Ave. Just saw Liev Schrieber in a chase scene. Unlike rumors that actors are always shorter in person, the guy is quite tall.
Isn’t this the film Angelina Jolie is in? Didn’t see her, but rumor is that Brad Pitt is on Capitol Hill today.
