RSS FeedTickets Available Now For Weschler’s Next Auction Block Party
Weschler’s third annual Penn Quarter on the Block: Cocktail Party and Auction will happen on Thursday, April 30th, at 6 pm. We’ve written about the first two auction parties (we attended the first and even had a walk-off auction win) before but want to remind everyone that these are not just fun parties; they also always support a worthy cause.
This year the party benefits the “Teen Scene” at the MLK Library. “Teen Scene” will be a “safe and supervised space for teens to have access to the latest technology, print materials, and an array of young adult programs, providing fun and academic support.”
Tickets for the auction are $30 in advance & $40 at the door. One of the most popular auction items is the “instant wine cellar” and Weschler’s is asking for a wine donation for that as well. Come out at the end of the month if you can for this worthy cause; you never know, maybe you’ll be bidding against a PQ Living writer.
