Posted by pqresident

Inauguration Day, January 21, is fast approaching and past the break below find a list of restaurants (or fast eats) that will be open that day in downtown or Penn Quarter. If you plan to be out early to gain access to the secure area, don’t underestimate how dehydrated and/or hungry you can get standing around outside. The gates to the secure zone open at 6:30 am.

We’re starting with the Downtown BID’s compilation of restaurants open on Inauguration Day, checking in with the Penn Quarter Neighborhood Association (PQNA), calling a few extra restaurants, and then sorting them by opening times so you know which ones you can migrate to for warmth, food, and drink especially early in the morning.
