Penn Quarter Tunnels Get Scrubbed
According to the Washington Examiner, DC Transportation officials will be closing certain lanes of the 3rd, 9th, and 12th street tunnels between 7pm and 5am. Tom Sietsma, the WaPo’s food critic, reported that “both the owners of a Georgetown cafe and the owners of a locally-owned restaurant company, based in the ‘hood, are angling for the spot [Andale].”
