Tom Sietsma, the WaPo’s food critic, reported that “both the owners of a Georgetown cafe and the owners of a locally-owned restaurant company, based in the ‘hood, are angling for the spot [Andale].”

it is not the issue who will occupy the Andale premises, but when? Restaurant brokers are constantly saying they have a very long list of restauranteurs angling for these selected, but limited sites. Yet, these sites remain unoccupied for months, or even for years. Bottom line is when!
