2009 Zenith Foundation Calendar Benefits Capital Area Food Bank
The new year is upon us and that means it’s time to scramble around and find those replacement 2009 calendars for the kitchen, the office and all those other places you want to keep an eye on the months as they go by. The Zenith Community Arts Foundation’s 2009 Calendar entitled “Food Glorious Food IV” that benefits the Capital Area Food Bank is a good way to replace those calendars, support a good cause and keep your donation dollars in DC.
The calendar itself is a delightful mix of art, food and practicality with each month presenting a piece of art, a recipe from a local chef and the layout of the month’s days. Local chefs contribute recipes with one recipe provided each month. Contributing chefs include Peter Smith from PS 7, Vikram Sunderam of Rasika and Caesere Assad of Vegetate.
How can you get a calendar? We suggest the following:
1) Call or visit the Zenith Gallery (413 7th Street, NW) at 202-783-2963
2) Visit the Capital Area Food Bank’s website and order online.
The minimum donation per calendar is $15.
