This year’s Capital Fringe Festival tickets will go on sale starting Monday, June 22nd! The shows are listed here, so you can strategize in advance of your ticket purchase.
For the uninitiated, the Capital Fringe Festival is an 18 day festival featuring local and non-local theater groups, dancers, and musicians. Some shows are even performed by your neighbors. Almost all of the shows are performed at various venues just a short walk from PQ residents’ homes. This year’s Fringe Festival headquarters is located at the old AV Italian restaurant at 607 New York Ave NW.

A very local production — “Pepe! The Mail Order Monkey Musical” is a Broadway-style musical from some of the artists residing in Mather Studios on G Street. The hour-long musical has been rehearsing at the private Gibson showroom above IndeBlue, and will perform at the “Mount” — the Mt. Vernon Square United Methodist Church.
