Dana Ellyn’s BANNED Exhibit At MLK Library
Penn Quarter artist, Dana Ellyn, is currently showing a solo exhibit, BANNED, at the MLK Library (901 G St NW). While the paintings were hung yesterday, the official opening reception (free & open to the public) will be on Monday June 28th from 6:30-8pm at the library. The exhibit shows through July 31st.
Each of the “banned” paintings are inspired by notable “banned books”; books that have been challenged and declared as prohibited from the public by one or more authoritative body.
