Ortanique Restaurant To Become Posh In Gallery Place
BET founder, Bob Johnson, plans to transform Ortanique @ 730 11th Street, NW into a new restaurant that will be called Posh. He has DC native Josh Sagman, (who has recently returned home from Florida) to help him. Look for new design, new chef, new concept –modern American with worldly influence. They are in the process of chef and general manager interviews. The interior-defining large screen will be utilized to show movie classic clips, with a piano playing in the background. A June opening is planned.
Thanks goes to Cheryl for the info!

Re: Southwestern/ Mexican…
Austin Grill, Rosa Mexicano, Andale, and if you want cheap, you’ve got Chipotle, California Tortilla, and Qdoba Mexican Grill.

The piano is a nice touch. I wish there were more places that played live music in our neighborhood.
