Penn Quarter Building Permit Update (Legal Sea Foods Renovation/Madame Tussauds Work)

Is it Madame Tussauds that is going to use the small, old, red brick build that is in the corner of the Woodies building (10th & F St)?

They will use the old Flagg Bros. building, and the adjacent basement of the Woodies Building. The excavation of the old brick building is fascinating! Who knew that was all there?! And as far away from the walls under the sidewalk. You gotta see it.

I don’t think Legal Seafood has a salad bar, but Ruby Tuesday’s does. Was anyone able to get details about the stabbing at Ruby Tuesday’s?

There was a stabbing this morning at 5:30 about a block from Gallery Place Metro station…not sure exactly where the initial stabbing occured…”heard” that it was near Ruby Tuesday’s.

Anon: oh, I thought you were talking about the ‘other’ ruby tuesday stabbing that an anon asked about a few weeks ago.

This morning’s stuff is all over the local news (NBC4) – and apparently the stabbing happened ‘somewhere’ on 6th St and the guy walked over to 7th, down the escalators, and then back up to the CVS.

We’ll do a post on it tomorrow with more detail that we find out.

Fox 5 News at 10:00 p.m. also just covered the stabbing. No new information was provided. Very disturbing that something like this could happen so early in the morning!
