Chinatown – A wine bar and restaurant called Flight is planned for 777 6th St NW. With Daikaya and Graffiato online, the 6th Street corridor continues to fill out. [PQ Living tweet with liquor license app] & [Washington CityPaper]

Penn Quarter – Somebody robbed the Chevy Chase Bank in Market Square (701 Pennsylvania Ave NW). That’s no good. [CBS Local News]
Downtown – Somebody also robbed the jewelry store, Robert Laurence Jewelers, at 12th and G St NW (1200 block of G St NW) mid-morning. See photo above – what’s going on? [WaPo]
Chinatown – The New Big Wong (610 H St NW) gets some deserved love from this town’s largest daily. This Chinese restaurant has been one of our go-tos for years – it became “New” in 1992. [WaPo]
Penn Quarter – Taylor Gourmet (624-A E St NW) opens its doors and brings its hoagies within easy walking distance of Penn Quarter. Delivery started last week but the online [PQ Living tweet]
Chinatown – To finish on a good note, this story about finding love at a Sixth and I (600 I St NW) lecture really made us smile. [WaPo]
Penn Quarter Crib of the Week – Nothing remarkable to note that we haven’t noted before, unfortunately. For sale inventory is very low.
