A Peek Inside The Former Webster School
Just as a quick follow-up to our post from last week, we were walking by the old Webster School (10th & H St NW) and found the doors propped open behind the fencing. Here are a couple of pics we took. Aside from the bubbling paint, the structure actually looks to be in decent shape.

I was walking by the school a couple of weeks ago and I saw some people working on the building. I was excited because I thought they were going to finally renovate the building. I asked one of the gentlemen in front whether they were renovating and he told me that they were just putting fans inside so it would not deteriorate. The gentlemen also told me that there are talks going on about either turning the old school into more offices or a Secret Service museum or a shop that sells Secret Service merchandise. That would be great if the Secret Service would open their museum to the public!
