More Razing In The Neighborhood (615-617 I St NW)

DCRA’s latest permit report shows that 615-617 I St NW was approved for razing as of 2/15/07. Undoubtedly, this is related to Gould’s 600 Massachusetts project which will be built next to NPR‘s headquarters.

Has development for this site already begun? In my building on the corner of 7th and H, we have heard very loud construction-like noises both tonight and last night (2/27). The noise last night went until at least 2 am.
