Summer Sips: G&T Avec Cilantro
A fun twist on our standby gin & tonic with fresh cilantro at The Oval Room (800 Conn. Ave., NW) is just what we need to cool down during these dog days of Summer. The restaurant is also featuring an entire menu featuring tomatoes that sounds delicious.

The main intersection in our neighborhood at 7th and H St NW received a makeover recently thanks to DDOT including new paint for all the crossing lines. It looks swell! This intersection converted to a 4 way crossing in May of 2010. (h/t: The 42 (Bus))

Summer Sips: Bourbon
Like Mark Twain once said “Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whiskey is barely enough!”
If you’re a fan of the brown spirit, be sure to check out the selection at Plan B Burger (801 Penn. Ave., NW). It’s one of the more diverse offerings in our neighborhood.
