Back in March we reported on Ford’s Theatre closing for renovations after the Gala held here last weekend. Well we now direct your attention to this article in Washington Post stating that the National Park Service “did not get adequate bids for the $8.5 million renovations.”
According to the article Ford’s Theatre opens to the public once again this morning. The Post is reporting that the Theatre could stay open for just a few months, or possibly much longer.

Art In Heat Opens Tomorrow At The Warehouse Gallery!
An eclectic mix of 18 emerging and established artists from the Washington, DC, area combine forces for “Art in Heat!” Join the artists for the opening reception on Saturday, June 30, from 7 – 11pm at the Warehouse Gallery. There will be drink specials at the bar, and DJ Adam will keep the party going late into the night. Art in Heat will be on display through July 30, and there is no charge for admission.
